The Wall Street Journal Reports on WebAction’s Latest Funding and the Striim Platform

WSJ-LogoThe Wall Street Journal and VentureWire report on WebAction’s $20 million round of funding, led by Intel Capital. The article highlights Striim as the new branding for the company’s streaming data integration and streaming analytics software.

The financing will be used “to expand the technical depth and market reach of its Striim platform, accelerate sales and build channels to help meet demand.”

The article further highlights that existing investors Summit Partners, Regis McKenna and Frank Caufield were joined by Panorama Point Partners and a new strategic investor in the round, and that Igor Taber from Intel Capital will join WebAction’s board of directors.
