Logging
Validata generates the following log files, which may be requested by Striim support.

eclipse-validata-reports.log | messages regarding reports |
validata-dbms.log | log for the local Apache Derby instance that hosts Validata Historian and stores data used by the monitoring feature |
validata.command.log | commands sent to the server by the web UI |
validata.server.log | log for the server process |
When Validata is installed as per Running Validata in Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Running Validata in Ubuntu, these files are in /var/log/validata. When installed as a process, these files are in the logs directory under the Validata application directory.
