Handing apps off to QA or production
When handing applications off to QA, production, or anyone else not using the same instance of Striim that you use, give them the following:
an exported TQL file for the application (see Exporting applications and dashboards)
exported JSON file(s) for any dashboard(s)
the SCM file(s) for any Open Processor components (see Creating an open processor component)
When writing applications that will be handed off, consider creating vaults with the same name in the various namespaces used by the teams. If the vaults' entries have the same names but different values, the applications can use different connection URLs, user names, passwords, keys, and so on with no need to revise the TQL. See Using vaults for more details.
