Db2 for z/OS continuous real-time replication

Reading CDC from Db2 for z/OS uses a Striim Connect external source component (see Db2 for z/OS CDC architecture overview) rather than a reader component. Consequently you must create your Db2 for z/OS CDC applications using the Flow Designer or TQL rather than a wizard. (You can create Db2 for z/OS initial load applications using wizards.)
