Striim for Databricks Documentation

Getting started

To get started with Striim for Databricks:

  1. Configure Azure Databricks: create a user, assign privileges, get a personal access key, and get the JDBC URL.

  2. Configure your source: enable change data capture and create a user account for use by Striim

  3. Choose how Striim will connect to your database: allow Striim to connect to your source database via an SSH tunnel, a firewall rule, or port forwarding

  4. Subscribe to Striim for Databricks: deploy Striim for Databricks from the Azure Marketplace

  5. Create a Striim for Databricks service: in the Striim Cloud Console, create a Striim for Databricks service

  6. Create a pipeline: follow the instructions on screen to create your first pipeline
